Anthropologie is it worth the prices

Anyone shop in Anthropologie, they’ve a sale on so I’m tempted...wouldn’t pay normal prices...is the quality worth the price? 😊

Ive bought lots of china/cups and plates from there which i love. Ive not bought clothes so cant comment.

My DD gets the odd thing from Urban Outfitters, which is their younger shop. Can’t say about Anthropologie, but with UO the quality isn’t any better than other shops, but the design usually is.

It’s not all the same brand but I have bought three things (jumper, denim, T-shirt) from them and they are all great and my cost per wear is excellent. I’m off to look at the sale now…

Their glasses, cups and plates are lovely I’ve bought a few bits in the sales before. Clothes I’ve not bought but am tempted with the sale ...I like a blouse by Maeve ..enjoy looking @Procrastatron

I LOVE them. Sales are good. Too expensive otherwise

Hit and miss, I buy lots of the necklaces in the sale. Shoes too.

I think Anthropologie curate stuff from different brands so it's not all from the same place

Good question OP. I always wonder who buys from Anthropology. It's Whistles prices almost but flimsy synthetic fabrics. Interested in the replies here.

I buy most of my clothes from Anthropologie. They’re lots of different brands, some better than others

their homeware is hit and miss, I’ve had a few really flimsy things, like some hooks, and a set of bathroom towel rails etc and some curtains that were thin and a bit shit

Unfortunately when I last ordered sale stuff they just never bothered to send it. My order was on indefinite hold and customer services were just crap about it. I’d only buy from the shop next time.

I would say Anthropologie does well because their items are very different to much on the high street. I have a dress and a few tops which are always complimented. I'm happy to spend there if it's beautiful.

It's all different brands so some are, some aren't. Generally I find things are good quality, it's quite well curated, but I've definitely had some terrible stuff too.

@onlyconnect That's an interesting comment, as I find Whistles utterly crap quality for the price. Horrible synthetic fabrics and poorly cut clothes, only really wearable if you're skinny. I wonder what we're looking at to have such different opinions!
