Mad to get a suede handbag? Help me choose!

Want to treat myself with some birthday money. Really like all the below but can't choose! Is it crazy to spend on a suede bag? Will it get ruined if it rains? I tend to wear jeans a lot so also may cause colour change with the rub off?

Love the brown and black saddle bags too, bit more autumnal but just my sort of thing but can't choose between brown and black. I usually go for brown but as this is oiled leather, it's buttery soft and a less harsh black if that makes sense.

And the black bag...

I love the second one!

I like the first but not as much and not keen on the last one.

The big big issue with suede is the colour coming off it. It can really stain. Look at Penny Lancaster at Ascot this week. Purple dye everywhere on her hands.

Very good point @TizerorFizz never thought about that. I was thinking of the suede getting stained not the other way round!
I love the little taupe one. It's a nicer colour in real life. I'd be worried about it getting marked by denim or rain or a spill. It's just the right kind of beige neutral for me though. How good are the protective sprays like kiwi etc?
I think I'm going to keep one of the saddle bags. Leaning towards black for a change as I always have brown!

Clarks suede spray miracle stuff protects from rain. Not sure about the other way though

Down to taupe, black, brown now.

Dark colours can rub off. Light colours don’t but can mark. I have a navy blue Mulberry and I do have to be careful with it. Not using it next to cream!

It is a bit pricey, isn’t it. One can but dream.
