Crossbody bag, not leather

Hello
I’d like to get a cross body bag for weekend / holiday use. I don’t want a leather one, I’d like it much more casual- ie something you might take to a beach for example. Something maybe like a “Kipling” type one, but I don’t particularly want one of those. I’ve been in the market for one of these for years now and never really found one. If anyone has any good links or where I might find one, please let me know. Thanks!

Why do you want something like a Kipling but not a Kipling?
Go on their website - there's quite a variety. I find them light and durable.

I have this one from Lululemon…comes in different colours

I love my healthy back bag (that's the brand - they have a website but I can't link right this second - also available on Amazon but way more colours and good clearance section on website) . Loads of colours and sizes - I use mine daily

I have a Kipling one, I took the monkey off and it just looks like a normal bag, it seems to be water resistant and washes well, I also have a Kipling rucksack, it just looks like any other one, I haven't found anything that matches up to them for durability.

Ooh that one is lovely. Thanks You - just ordered!

@Maireas to be fair I haven’t been on the Kipling website for a while. In the past I had a look and didn’t love any of the bags. I had a quick look this morning and some looked ok. I’m not anti Kipling - more that I just didn’t know of any other brands that did crossbody not leathers bags.

The Uniqlo nylon half moon bag is brilliant but I think they're all sold out now as apparently became a tiktok sensation...

Honestly, I've got a couple of really nice ones and they're very light and durable. Machine washable! Like pp, I take the monkey off.

I have a few Kipling bags, I love them, so lightweight, so many colours and styles.

wickerwings.com/

All the bags from there are lovely but I really love the crossbody ones

I have a couple from Nicky James

Purplehonesty2 · 18/06/2022 08:39

I've got a nice grey canvas converse one that I used to use on the train etc.
big enough for book, phone; AirPods and purse ?

TheGirlOnTheLanding · 18/06/2022 12:43

Like @BestIsWest I came on to recommend Nicky James - good range of sizes and mine have lasted well and not got as tatty as others the same age

cataline · 18/06/2022 12:53

Look at Roka London. I have a few of their round crossbody bags and they're great.
Lots of useful pockets inside.

Feiler bags? They scream holiday.
