It's urban decay New York pallets

I went for a makeup lesson recently and she said this pallete was no good for my skin tone. I need warm colours.

Since I already have this, I don't want to chuck or pass on unless I really have to. I thought

Would you say any of these are warm shades? If so which ones please

Hahaha! So you're warm then. So, I'm warm and look like I live underground, that palette of yours wouldn't suit me much just by itself. I'd use the warmer greens and the lilac as eyeliner. The lighter ones I'd use all over the lid with sth else on the crease - I'm very partial to MAC Haux on the crease or on the V but this is a personal choice. I also love peaches as a transition.
If you're more tanned, those lighter colours will wash you by themselves but you could rock those darker ones in a fab smokey eye though maybe not for everyday life.
If you get hard pan (if they don't feel so smooth anymore and you can't pick up anything with the brush) you can get a piece of kitchen role and sort of "sand" the top with that until that top layer's gone.
As for still using that over 10 years, ideally you wouldn't do it as sb else pointed above, however I've got some old ones so who am I to preach? As long you know the risks, specially for bacteria! Bring the risk down: wash your brushes regularly, keep the lid closed, don't wet eye brushes with your tongue...
If you're Asian & on the lighter side I'd recommend you look into SK and Japan brands. Fabulous quality, shades are a bit on the lighter side though and great prices (Japanese ones are pricier and I've only ever tried the SK ones but they've got quite a following too). There are really nice palettes at a fab price.

There are few warm tones in there but to get a more "complete" eye look I think you should just get a new palette. The one you have is pretty old, eyeshadow technology has actually come a long way in the last few years, the textures and pigmentation are much better than they were. Get yourself a palette from Natasha Denona or PatMcGrath, you won't look back!!

When I try new face makeup I always take a before and after selfi. You can instantly see if your color pallete is working. You don't need to go to someone else. As a fair skin auburn hair blue eyed 72 yr old man I use Tartalette's. Frosted pallette. Fireside for main top lid first pass. Then center blend top lid with warmth a shade lighter. And finish with a lighter candle in crease. I stopped using the black smokey eyeshadow look. Darker colors made me look aged, older, harsher. Softer tones give you a more youthful appearance.
