Is the Dyson airwrap overpriced

I have a friend with the airwrap and it makes her hair lovely I must admit. Hair is shiny after use. I was lucky enough to use it and I liked it.

I wanted one for ages but I just can't justify the price. Its just so expensive.

I finally bit the bullet and bought a different tool - hot air brush.. I didn't wash my hair or use it yet but I am looking forward to using my new hot air brush. I bought a hot tools brush. I think it's similar to the revlon one step perhaps. I don't know. Now that I have the purchase made and I think more on the Dyson, I am happy with my budget brush and glad I never bought a Dyson. There's so many brush attachments with the Dyson. I think there's a few different brush heads and different sized barrels. I tried to curl my hair with my friends Dyson before but I couldn't manage it. I couldn't manipulate my hands with the brush and twist and curl. I really don't think I would have used all of the attachments with a Dyson.

Asking here - do you think is the airwrap is overpriced? I think if it was 200 or 300, I would have considered it but at 500, no way. Or maybe if Dyson had a pick and mix thing with the airwrap I would consider it but it's still a scandalous price.

If you have no intention of buying one, why does it matter to you?

I love my Airwrap. If it broke, I would replace it. It makes my hair look fab with minimum effort, and my hair is in loads better condition than when I was blow-drying (Parlux). To each their own...
