Roccabox: really impressed!

I received my first Roccabox. It’s a beauty box subscription service, but you can just buy one when you want to without subscribing - weirdly at the same price £15 and you can see what will be in it before you purchase 🤷‍♀️
I’m so impressed with what I received. Not everything is full size, but amazingly the Symbiosis Eye Cream is. It’s sold at £72 and has great reviews. I just tried it and it’s gorgeous. It does have a gently tightening effect. The Feather and Down deep sleep spray is also full size and smells wonderful. I will use it on my clothes just relax, never mind sleep. The Umberto Gianni blow dry spray is full size. The other items are smaller, but not tiny, a few months worth with regular use I’d say. I looked everything up and the full value is £116.75 for £15. I will use all of it and be back for more.

It’s also free delivery for orders over £20, so I also bought the Mystery Box for £12. It too is great, though I haven’t worked out the value if the items were bought separately yet. I will show that to if people are interested.

I saw this, and thought it was good value. I'm in the Liberty Beauty Drop though, so I need to use some stuff up first really.

Oops, it seems the £15 one off was a special offer. You can subscribe for £15 and cancel and go back anytime though. There are also cheaper subscriptions which require a 12 month commitment I think. It seems much better value than other beauty subscriptions. Unless others know different . . . . . .

I think that is pretty good value. Have you looked into Liberty Drop at all @AnnieSnap. That's effectively a free box 4 times a year.

AnnieSnap · 16/06/2022 12:42

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants I’ll take a look

@SpongeBobJudgeyPants I don’t think I can justify spending £220 a year on beauty products though. Certainly not now as I have lots of stuff to use up. Can the ‘banked’ money be spent on anything else? Also, could you tell me a bit about your boxes?

At the moment, it gives you a no which you insert into gift card box at checkout. Gives you free postage too. Other people have used their banked money for other stuff, not beauty, and some people are saving it for the Advent Calendar. I've only had it long enough for one box, but got the CBD sleep drops, a herby body lotion, sample of perfume, hair oil, may have been about 6 things altogether? There is a Liberty thread going, and we all get excited when we are due/or get our box. Grin

Thanks @SpongeBobJudgeyPants 🙂

That does look slightly better than the look fantastic one I get sometimes. Also a beauty drop member!

AnnieSnap · 16/06/2022 18:27

@greywinds what is your experience of Liberty Drop Box?

OP posts:
greywinds · 16/06/2022 18:32

I've only had one, which wasn't amazing but given that you get the credits and it's free, I loved a couple of things in it so not bad.

Look fantastic is variable quality too, great some months and not others.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 16/06/2022 19:07

TBF, I have used all of it, and compared to, say, the M & S Summer Kit offer (25quid?) was much more usable, and better value. IMHO. Horses for courses innit Grin

greywinds · 16/06/2022 20:14

Good idea to use it for advent calendar - I clearly need to join that thread!

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 17/06/2022 16:39

Yes @greywinds. It will revive itself nearer Box Time I'm sure!
