I’m thinking of this specific style, but any thoughts? Do they come up wide? Narrow etc?

Here’s a slightly bigger photo.

Yes I have a pair (different style but similar. I have wide feet (although not eccessively so thay I need wide fit shoes, just on the wide end iyswim) and they fit ok on me.

superram · 15/06/2022 17:00

I found they rubbed the top of my toes and I found them hard to walk in as obviously they have no ‘give’. I sold them.

DatingIsDifficult · 15/06/2022 17:12

Are they all made to the same ‘block’ or whatever the word is? Are they all the same regarding space for toes? My toe is already bashed from some other shoes in this same way.

@superram that’s in reply to your post, sorry.

I've literally taken delivery today of a traditional style. Whilst I've not got very wide feet there is some room in them.
I've just got to wear mine inside with socks to losen the leather over the top

DatingIsDifficult · 15/06/2022 19:35

@Howdidthathappen1 do you mean in the top of your foot? That’s where I’m unsure if they’ll pinch or not.

I bought some last year in a misguided fashion frenzy. Total waste of money. They fit ok but they are solid, unyielding and uncomfortable. They now live by the back door as a practical slip on for taking rubbish and recycling out.

DatingIsDifficult · 16/06/2022 00:09

@Everydaydayisaschoolday Noooooooooooo

Don’t tell me that 😭😭😭😭😭

Same here, although I also have a ridiculously high instep which concerned me when I got them, but they're fine.

FourFourthsDontCare · 16/06/2022 10:38

I have a pair that I bought a few years ago, and I find them very comfortable. The heel is lower but otherwise they look similar. Unlike plenty of other shoes I've worn, they've never rubbed or given me blisters. If it's relevant, my feet are fairly narrow.

peaceanddove · 16/06/2022 17:57

Yes, I have 3 pairs. Love them. I do have narrow feet though.

FirstFallopians · 16/06/2022 18:12

I have the pair you’re looking at OP, in tan suede.

I find them very comfortable. They're a great way of getting a bit of height and they’re very versatile for summer shoes.

Notjustabrunette · 16/06/2022 18:48

I have wide feet and no issues with them.

AutumnVibes · 16/06/2022 19:36

I got married in a pair and they’re lovely. No issues with rubbing.

DatingIsDifficult · 16/06/2022 19:37

All right! I think I’ll go for it!

Thank you everyone!

Late to the party.... Did you buy these? I'm looking at their website now and very tempted, however I have very wide feet....
If you bought them, how did you find them? Thank you 😊

DatingIsDifficult · 12/04/2025 22:38

I never did buy them in the end. I think I got distracted by life 😆.

I bought a pair similar to yours but with a closed I front. They fit well in width but a little short. I’m always a perfect size 5, but can fell my toes touching the front.
They feel more like a 4.5

BusterGonad · 13/04/2025 01:01

They look like torture devices, I had some wooden clog style mules back in the early 2000s. They were hellish.

Dunkou · 13/04/2025 07:01

Aaargh clogs. I’ve tried hard with two pairs of Hasbeens, but they really are torture. Dune do platform style clogs that are lightweight and actually flex. Far more comfortable though less traditional.

Daffodilsarefading · 13/04/2025 08:29

They look very uncomfortable.

mewkins · 13/04/2025 09:47

I have some lotta sandals like this, plus some boots with wooden soles and some other Dune sandals with wooden soles (I have many shoes!) ...all are really comfortable but you can't wear them in the rain!
