Hi
Looking for help with an outfit for a wedding in 3 weeks time !
I'm 51 a size 14/16 Apple shape and I'm looking for a dress for my younger brothers wedding.
It's a smallish ( 35) semi informal wedding.
I'm dad has recently died and the funeral is the week before . I've been so busy sorting this out and I have no energy to look for clothes.
I had ordered a few online to try but I look really awful in them.
Ideally I'd like some smallish sleeve . I don't mind floral but nothing too bold .

Please help .

Thank you.
I don't mind most colours really . Budget is up to £150 for dress . Willing to pay extra for accessories.

This is quite nice but look bad on the model as its not her size.

Sorry for your loss its understandable that shopping is the last thing on your mind.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure I like the ruffle and split to the front . I think it may make me look bigger than I am.

If it's semi informal you shouldn't need to spend that much unless you plan to get use from the dress often . Have a look at M&S online they're doing some lovely dresses at the moment. A v neck will reduce a cleavage provided it's not too deep .

I have been browsing at M&S and found this: https://www.marksandspencer.com/floral-v-neck-tie-front-midi-tiered-dress/p/clp60540280?intid=mobileappppdpshare

I posted that M&S dress several weeks ago on another thread. Actually they do have quite a few very decent dresses at the moment. Several Broderie anglais ones are fab. They can be dressed up or down. There’s a hot pink one too. They are not very expensive. I collect From my local food store and return from home via Evri. Works well and saves the stress of hit changing rooms.

Boden also have lots of dresses in your price range. These might suit you?

@uggmum
That's a great dress too. I think midi dresses make wedding guest dressing so much easier! I wore a Jaeger midi dress in the RE at Ascot on Tuesday. Not expensive but it looked it!
