Come and laugh at my ponytail haircut

Cos if I don't laugh I'll cry!
I have an appointment with a hairdresser later. Will it be relatively easy for her to fix?
More worryingly, what will she say?? How will I explain myself?!

It's fine, loads to work with there. I've done much worse. I once tried to give myself a crop Hmm I thought, how hard can it be?

An hour later I was on the bus wearing a beanie on my way to an emergency hair appointment

That’s not bad at all. My twins arrived early and unexpectedly so I never got the haircut I had booked in prior to birth and I had a very long thick hair post pregnancy. With two newborns I couldn’t get to the hairdresser so one morning I took (blunt) scissors to my ponytail and chopped the lot off. I felt so much better!

To be fair it looks a lot better than the poor womans hair who posted the other day Grin

I used to do the mumsnet haircut and became quite good at it, however the last time I did it, I got a bit scissor happy and ended up looking like Ann Widdecombe 🙄yours looks lovely.

Thanks everyone, I was not expecting the relatively positive responses! It did make me feel a lot better about facing the hairdresser!

Unfortunately I didn't get time to take an updated pic before the school run, so not the best pic, but she has certainly tidied it up 😊

That could be so much worse! Where did you get your dress? It's lovely.

Thank you - it's just a supermarket cheapie from Nutmeg!
