Message to Vinted sellers...

If you are trying to sell an item of clothing, and you post a single slightly blurry photo that doesn't even have the entire garment in shot, and just the words 'size 12 dress' in the description (which is already in the title) then absolutely no one is going to buy it!

This is more of a rant really, but I have been browsing quite a lot the last few days and am surprised at the number of utterly crap uploads. Even things I have quite liked the look of i have just skipped over, and I'm not going to waste time messaging to ask them anything else.

If you are going to go to the trouble of photographing and uploading to try and sell something, surely you would try and get a few proper photos and a decent description of the item. Why do people do it like this?

Anyone can do it, therefore you’ll get all sorts.

Even worse is when the main picture is of the label, and you can't see what the item actually looks like apart from a vague hint of the colour. I was looking at a black coat on there today and the seller's white Persian cat was standing next to it, clearly thinking about lying down on the coat and going to sleep on it. It put me right off, as I assumed if I bought it, it would arrive covered in white fluff.

I can't understand why there are so many terrible photos on Vinted, it's not like the old days when you had to send your film off to be developed and you only found out the pictures were blurred/included your thumb a week later!

I don’t get it either! But hey ho. They don’t get to sell their stuff.
