Really like this dress but I need an opinion.

I'm early 40s. I have a bit of a tummy but slim legs. I've bought it as I want a cool dress but that covers me up to the sun, loads of moles and high risk. It just flows really nice and its cool and I really like it and i detest tight clothes. But I'm so out of touch, is it ok for someone of my age, also does it look like an old fashioned nightie(not sure why I think that)
