Has anyone bought some Birkenstocks recently, and if so what style?

I am very tempted to get some new ones, my last ones are years old and need replacing. I like the bright blues and greens and want leather.

I’ve just bought two pairs, the kyoto in green which I love, and black Arizonas with a red trim on the sole.

I have bought a pair of Arizona, stone colour. I find them very comfy and timeless.

I have the green Kyoto too, I love them, so bright and cheery.

I also have three pairs or Mayaris, rose gold, brown oiled leather and black oiled leather, they are ridiculously comfy.

I got the Boston clogs this year. Maybe not what you’re looking for but so comfy and look great IMO!

Anyone got any of the metallic taupe ones? I am tempted but not sure how they will look in the flesh. Could play it safe and go for another white pair but I thought running a coloured pair along side the white might add variety.

I had silver Gizehs for years. They're finally knackered - boo - and I have bought brown Mayaris. I don't love them as much but there wasn't much choice and I wanted them then and there.

I’ve got a silver pair and they seem to go with just about everything. I suspect the metallic taupe would too. They may well be next year’s colour.

How do you find the mayari comfort wise?

I am looking at them as an alternative to the Madrid. I had Gizeh in the past and liked them.

Arizonas - first ever Birkenstocks. Didn't love them at first and I had to size up due to long toes which felt a bit weird too but now I've worn them a bit I love them.

I can wear them straight out the box for a ten mile walk no problems. I find them super comfortable.

Hi I’ve recently bought my first pair the mayaris in ginger very comfortable I tried on others but the styles wasn’t for me, I may purchase the white ones next 😊

Gizeh In black patent leather.
Madrid in red.
Undecided if to get some in Orange or gold

I always have Madrids, simple and go with everything. At the moment I have pearl white.

There's a sale on the birkenstocks site, a lot of them are £39.99 but with taxes £54 that's still a great price though. I've just bought natural metallic arizonas

Not Birkenstocks, but I bought these Joseph Siebel 54 slip ons in a sale in an independent shoe shop a few weeks ago. I have awkward feet, and being able to adjust the straps over the toes and the instep these makes them extremely comforatble.

Always Arizona for me. I've got a silver pair and a lilac one, so at least one of them will always fit.

I love my Madrids, but they make my knees ache. I think I must clench my toes.

Sticking to the Gizehs and Arizonas from now on.

I have Arizona in birko flor and leather Bali soft footbed & narrow, which are a dream to walk in.

I've bought a new pair and I have to reluctantly admit that I am disappointed.

The quality is not as good as my last pair, the straps are really plasticky compared to the old birkoflor, and the buckles are plastic too. They feel narrower too (in normal fit).

I'm not sure whether to keep them to be honest.
