Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm - but cheaper?

TokyoSushi · 14/06/2022 12:15

I got the Emma Hardie Morninga cleansing balm in the M&S beauty advent calendar. I absolutely love it and still have a tiny bit left, but it's ££££ to replace.

Any ideas for anything similar, but slightly cheaper?

I like Neal’s Yard rose one and it’s so beautiful too. But EH is the best, sorry.

Blondeissimo · 15/06/2022 07:03

Farmacy Green Clean is my favourite and smells delicious too. I like EH but Green Clean beats it IMO.

clairethewitch70 · 15/06/2022 07:10

Take the plunge and get EH. I am hooked and love it. Can’t beat it 🙂

You can find Lacura on EBay - people sell at a profit but it’s cheaper than EH.
I’ve used the Lacura balm and it’s very good - not used Emma Hardie.
These are my other favourites.

I blame this thread entirely for me going out and buying this today, I hope you're all very proud of yourselves 😂

@PaddleBoardingMomma.
You will not be disappointed

TabithaTittlemouse · 16/06/2022 17:12

@PaddleBoardingMomma very proud, you will have gorgeous skin and smell beautiful (I’m sure that you already are those things but more so).

Elmo311 · 16/06/2022 17:19

Same! Can't wait to try it :)

Aww how sweet! I'll report back, I'm afraid it will be so good I'll be stuck paying it for the rest of my life 😂

I got hooked from the M&S advent calendar too. I'm on my second big pot and have so far managed to find a discount each time. Justmylook have it for about £35 at the moment. Or they did last week anyway

TokyoSushi · 16/06/2022 22:51

Oh yay @PaddleBoardingMomma it's fabulous, hope you love it!

I've just bought this as well on back of this thread. I'm expecting amazing transformations after the price! 😂
Thank you to PP who mentioned the discount on website

Blossomtoes · 16/06/2022 22:56

It’s £25 for 50ml at M&S and Next.

GlomOfNit · 26/06/2022 22:29

I'm also addicted to this stuff after ordering the M&S calendar! Grin I made the original pot last for about 5 months (was it not the first thing we unwrapped? it lasted all December before we even got onto 2022!) and then I paid a visit to M&S Beauty section and fainted. Grin I then went onto eBay and found quite a lot of M&S advent calendar spoils being sold on there... I'm absolutely convinced my pot is genuine so I'll risk it again when this one runs out. Or perhaps try the Lacura.

My skin is prone to greasiness (though no longer to blackheads, thanks to switching to Bare Minerals over a decade ago) so I'm always reluctant to use anything at all greasy on it, but I'd used the Liz Earle facial pomade before and found it ok. So I was nervous about smearing the moringa balm on but once you've scrubbed it off again, you really don't feel greasy, just delightfully plumped and hydrated. And the smell!! My skin really responded well to this, even on days when I was a bit spotty.

Passmeaplacard · 27/06/2022 03:12

EBay is your friend here. There’s always people selling unwanted items from the advent calendars, I do it myself.
quick search has found two unopened ones both under £15

Body shop camomile cleansing butter is v good - and a bargain!

JLbaby · 27/06/2022 08:05

I like the Body Shop one and the m&s pure one, neither leave a residue and both affordable, the M&S one smells lovely too.

toastfiend · 27/06/2022 10:52

The M&S Pure brand rose cleansing balm felt and smelled exactly the same to me as the Emma Hardie one that I got in my M&S advent calendar.
