Leggings under dresses?

Is this still a thing or is it very dated now?

Counterpoint - I see many people wearing leggings who I wish had put a dress on over them.

Snag sell capri length leggings that are thinner than cotton leggings and are a good middle ground as far as this dilemma goes.

I wear this everyday. I like wearing dresses and I work somewhere that I can’t have my bare legs exposed. Tights make me itch, I hate the feeling of them and they never fit right.
Not bothered in the slightest whether it’s fashionable or not, I dress like this because I like it and it’s comfy.

i wear 3/4 length leggings with a dress. Stops chub rub and I don't care if it's dated

I wear leggings with shorter dresses, so those that finish above the knee. I personally wouldn’t wear leggings with dresses that were knee length or below. But that’s mainly because I’m short and the proportions look all wrong on me.

It’s not a look I’ve ever been fond of, and I do think it looks dated. But I can see that it serves a purpose in our particular climate.

I think the type of dress and shoes the leggings are paired with make all the difference. Ballet flats with knee length wrap dress, nah.

I'll wear sports leggings but that's because I work from home and try and get a work out of some description in most days. I'll pop out to the supermarket / shops in sports leggings but with a longish t-shirt, hoodie and trainers.

I never did like the leggings and dress look so I'm glad it's not coming back in.

I wear leggings with long tops or dresses that are just above my knee. With boots in the aufum/winter or ballet flats/sandals in summer. But I'm not very stylish 😂 only recently been reading S&B!
