Where should the waist be on this top?

Hi - seen a Next topthat I like. It has a bubble hem. Where should that sit on my body or am I supposed to tuck it in?

Can anyone recommend something similar but with a normal hem? It feels tight with the bubble like I’m being cut in half (not literally). I have issues with textures/feel through autism so might not just get used to it.

It looks like thick fabric, could you cut the hem out and put a normal one in? Might lose 2 inches off the length?

Is bubblehem the new word for elasticated??

Looks like it should just sit on the hips. I don’t like bubble hems though, every time you move you have to pull them down as they don’t fall back naturally like a usual hem.

I think so @bare , I thought it was weird as well but I’m not all into fashion.

I think this one is a no go for me, I can’t be bothered with pulling it into shape regularly.
