Hard skin on feet

My feet are in need of TLC - the skin on the soles is hard.

Rather than going for an expensive pedicure, are there any good DIY sets for a home pedi?

I think I'll need a blade for the hard skin, as well as a file.

Any recommendations?

It sounds like you need a chiropodist then you'll be able to keep them soft at home with cream and a pedi egg.

I feel like i've tried everything mentioned in this thread. Rasps that look like testers, ped eggs, S&G foot file, pumice stone, the foot masks which is meant to 'melt' the skin off over time, foot file with a blade like a vegetable peel (OW - do not recommend in the slightest!) and the battery revolving mini sanders! Oh and I have a pedicure every eight weeks and even have tried the elim chemical peel pedi. The only thing that I have found that works was this www.margaretdabbs.co.uk/professional-foot-file-margaret-dabbs-london/ and then smothered in vaseline with socks over the top to soak in.
