How much effort would that be every day? Do I need a Dyson airwrap?

If you want 70s hair, wash it once a week in Linco Beer shampoo.
Do you mean flat?.

If you mean like Farrah Faucet you need a Revlon one-step.

You're going to need big rollers for the Farrah look.
Maybe a curly perm? Very 70s.

I used to be a teacher's hair model at Vidal Sassoon school in the 70s. One of the hairdressers told me she hated it when someone came in wanting Farrah Fawcett style hair as it was impossible to maintain off a film set. Of course now there are more hair products available so it might be achievable. Back then we used KY Jelly for hair gel.

To get those flicks, your fringe needs to dry in place - I think we used hairgrips to hold the shape till it dried, or a hairband across the front of your forehead with the fringe tucked in place.

I'm watching this is us now and I've been thinking the same thing!
I like the fringe but I've never had a fringe that sits like that 😬
