Dove Summer Revive instructions for a simpleton

I'd be so grateful if someone can tell me the best way to apply this self-tanner. Do I need to:

A) apply body lotion first - or will this dilute it?

B) use a mitt - or can I use my hands?

You could go all sorts of faff I suppose, but I just chuck it on like a body lotion/moisturiser - comes out lovely!

Oh yay - so no need to put a separate body lotion on first?

And hands don't go orange?

Definitely wash your hands after applying, if you do that they won’t go orange. And as PP says, I just chuck it on, no other body lotion needed

I find it pretty foolproof, I just use it instead of body lotion (and on my face instead of moisturiser, in the evenings a couple of times a week). I don't bother exfoliating or anything although I don't get a lot of dry skin. I just wash my hands when I've finished applying it. Same goes for Skinny Tan.

Do you know how many applications it requires (on average) to get a healthy glow? I'm quite pasty...
