I've had highlights for years, today I visited a different salon for them and she applied a toner afterwards. Don't think I've ever had a toner put on before, I've now got a spot on my scalp and just wondered if I should start to freak out incase I'm having a reaction. I've already got anxiety but I don't ever remember getting a spot on my scalp after having highlights.
I didn't get offered a patch test and never thought to ask for one because I've never needed one for foil highlights.
