Heat spray for hair

Is there some kind of heat spray to put on my hair before straightening to protect it? Nothing too expensive and something I can easily pick up in boots. For around a tenner, any ideas? Thanks

Lee Stafford heat protector. It smells you'll either like the smell or hate it.

I like the tresemme keratin smooth one in a red bottle - about £5 and you can get it in boots.

Ok thanks I'll try the tresems first then. Do u apply to dry hair just beside u straighten? Or to wet hair before blow drying?

To wet hair before blow drying, heat is heat. They also do a straightening balm in the same range than activated by straighteners, I really like that too.
