Chi chi London

Has anyone bought from Chi Chi London? I’m looking for a wedding dress that doesn’t cost the earth, and they have some lovely ones for around £150-£200. However, I’m wondering if these are too good to be true. Reviews online seem largely ok, but just wanted some more opinions please. Thanks!

Loads of people love chi chi for prom dresses and are very happy with the quality

I got a couple of them for black tie events and found them fine.

My daughters prom dress came from them - cost £75, spent £30 having a dress maker for it properly to her and it looked utterly amazing I have to say (and looked like something significantly more expensive).

I ordered a dress from Chichi for my small wedding years ago. It was well made and comfortable. I enjoyed wearing it.

Obviously it didn't have the finish of something bespoke or designer , but it looked more expensive than it was.

I should also say that I did order two and send one back. The one I returned had lace over the sleeve and neck area , and I found the lace itchy. The return was quick and easy , so it might be worth trying one on just to see.

I hope you find something you love.

^ should say £30 having a dress maker fit it properly..

DD had a dress from them a couple of years ago for prom, and more recently bought another one to wear as a wedding guest.

Brilliant quality for both, she did pay to have the prom dress altered, can’t remember exactly how much but wasn’t a lot.

They have a lot of different fits as well which we found helpful, particularly if you’re on the shorter side I believe DDs dresses were from the petite range.

I ordered a wedding dress from chi chi 3 years ago. It was beautiful and exactly like the picture. Perfect. Fitted so well.

I bought a wedding guest dress from there, fit true to size and quality fine (as good as you'd expect from any high street shop). It was only £35 in the sale. I'd buy from there again.

Oh that’s brilliant to hear! So many positive stories. I’ll definitely try one then, especially if I can send it back. Thanks all!
