Wedding- bag and shoes

Is it ok to have gold bag and gold shoes? Not quite the same shade. I'm not super fashionable but don't want to look really dated. My dress is blue.

Personally, I think silver would look better with a blue dress.

What shade of blue is your dress? Ligtht, dark, baby, indigo, teal?

It's a darkish but quite bright with a bit of pattern. Not as dark as navy, but darker than electric blue.
I agree silver might be better but I don't have a silver bag and it's too late now. It's the matching I'm concerned about. I could have a blue bag instead.
I do have silver shoes- those with a gold bag is surely a no but could do silver shoes and blue bag.
