Why was this too £45.00?

It just popped up on my sm. l mean it’s OK, but 45 quid for just a top made of viscose🤷🏼‍♀️

It must be in the sale as no one was prepared to pay that price. I’ve got issues with M and S anyway. Dd likes to sleep in big cotton sweatshirts. A mens in M and is is £22.50. A womens is 57 quid l think. I bought the mens….

It could be paying the designers, the style if other people selling similar products sell for around that place, or sometimes products are put up at a high price then swapped for a lower one to make the lower one seem like a good deal even though its also ridiculous.

But it’s high for M and S. I didn’t realise it was by Nobody’s Child.

I put a filter on the website to just have their own brand products, as the branded products tend to be more pricey.

M&S are selling a lot of different brands lately, but I don’t think people always realise that so think all the items are M&S when they’re not all. I had the same
thing recently when I thought a dress was really expensive for M&S then realised it was jaegar

l still don’t think it’s worth 45 quid though.

Nobody's Child is terrible sizing and quality. Really not worth it.

I don't find their women's more expensive. I got a hoodie for sub 20 quid the other day.

It's nobody's child not m and s ... this is one of the brands they sell .
They do this a lot now copying next !

I do like the grey one better. It’s a nice fit. I get your frustration at the price though. H&M are good for cheap cotton sweatshirts that lAst reasonably well.

The grey one is made by Burgs. I’ve just had a quick look on the M&S website and there are cheaper pure cotton sweatshirts that aren’t “designer”.

The only ones that were pure cotton l could find had frills or dip dye. She just wanted a plain one.

M&S have their own plain female ones for about £20. I saw them in the shop the other day.

The plain ones are all cotton ‘rich’. I’ve checked again, there are no pure cotton plain sweatshirts. If you can find one please point me at it!

That’s cotton ‘rich’. Polyester makes her itch. It’s got 15% polyester.

But surely you don’t have to buy it if you don’t like the price?

I have been buying m and s cotton sweatshirts for 15 quid. They aren't part of a collection though.

Are they 100% cotton though?
