Met Pass out parade- What to wear?

I’m attending a pass out parade on Friday. No idea what the dress code is. Don’t want to turn up to gussied up and be out of place any ideas please?

I've just been to a police passing out ceremony, but not for the Met.

Ours was fairly formal actually. I wore a midi dress and ballet flats. Saw a range of outfits but all were pretty formal. Most women were in dresses and jackets with shoes rather than trainers.
