Espadrilles, which ones are really comfortable?

I prefer the closed toe slip on, looking for a brand that is comfortable enough to be wandering around daily in them.

Toms!!! They’ve got squidgy memory foam in. You need to get the espadrilles ones though, normal Toms no way near as comfy

If you want classic espadrilles and not more trainery ones then I’m not sure it makes much difference, cheap ones I’ve picked up on holiday or on Asos as just as comfy as my Castaner ones. Thin soft fabric is comfier than thicker canvas in my experience.

I second Toms, just got a pair and they're very comfortable, yet with the classic espadrille look.

@WildFlowerBees do you mean the wedge heels type like duchess of Cambridge wears?penelope Chilvers or castener are her brands. I have PC ones and I can walk in them to go for coffee or a meal but I wouldn't wear all day

Another vote for Castaner, I have three pairs!

Having looked up Toms and discovered that practically all their shoes come big enough to fit my freakishly large feet, I am not sure whether I want to kiss you, or curse you (because I now want to buy them all).

Not sure I like the style of Toms, I've got a pair of Chanel canvas espadrilles from 10 years ago. So comfy but worn to death and I'm not paying todays prices for a new pair!

@WildFlowerBees ah okay! I got my Chanel dupes from Aldo and LK Bennett have lovely ones this year. If you google you'll find many many dupes
