Quality Black Bow Tie

Struggling to find a black bow tie for Ds1's post A'level prom. Want a quality one, but many look cheap and nasty. Please suggest where to get a classy one?

Do you want a proper one that needs to be tied or a pre done on elastic!

Charles Tyrrwhitt does black silk ones. Turnbull and Asser if you are buying a bow tie for life, and also Liberty. Not black but beautiful! Classier and with more personality for the summer than black!

I wanted to know where you start looking to get a nice one. I might have previously wandered round Debenhams and asked the menswear assistant for advice?

Or my friend might have said : don't buy one from xxx they are rubbish . Do / or don't get one from moss bross, when you look at suits, there are better ones from ........next, selfridges, John Lewis, M&S, Harvey nicks.

I just don't know.

DH has ones from Turnbull and Asser and Liberty. Shame there’s no sale on. Silk is what you need. I think you can express personality in a bow tie!
