Summer basics help

I popped to m&s to stock up on some basics - nice soft cotton shorts, cotton v neck tees - and they had none!

I then popped to Sainsburys but again very little - they did have some t-shirts but they were short and boxy shaped (as most of their tops seem to be).

Where oh where to go for some basics ?

Cos for V neck t-shirts
Were there no jersey shorts in M&S?

Sadly no Cos here. There were jersey shorts but I want nice soft cotton chinos style ones like I've bought in previous years!

M&S but online, it’s exhausting - I’m on my 4th online order as the sizes are hit and miss, for some reason most of tops and dresses are too big this season but it’s still better then visiting a shop - we’ve got 2 nearby and both run out of simple basics in average sizes very quickly.

I also get a few basic things for myself from Morrisons ( yes, it feels very strange), Primark and Asda for teen DD.

Just wanted to clarify that I did online order from Morrisons and Asda - the choice was better then in shops.

I just got this in M&S, because it's lovely and soft. Maybe a bit too 'Jesus' though?

This v neck t-shirt is quite nice too - size down.

GAP usually has a good variety of t-shirts and basics.

See the v neck cotton is what wanted - large m&s nothing but blends. I think I'm going to have to order online.
