Skincare after being in the sun

I had a few days away in Greece over the last week and though I used my usual amounts of SPF50 (liberal, very regular top ups), I did spend a lot more time in direct sunlight than I have done for a while. I used Lidl's CIENSPF50 which I've used before and it's been brilliant at stopping me burning. This time though I've not burnt (the pic looks pink but I think that's the lighting) but I've been left with what I'd say is almost one giant pigmentation on my chest? In pictures it looks like my chest skin is really dirty? I do moisturise a lot (skin oil) so it's not dry but is it just the 'shock' of strong sun exposure?

On a plus I used the La Roche-Posay 50+ on my face and that fared a lot better. I am very freckly, always have been on my face but not my chest as such. Thanks
