Metronidazole cream and moisturiser

I’m currently using metronidazole cream for a flare up of rosacea. It seems to be working ( have been using it for 1 month) and my skin is settling down. My question is what is the best moisturiser to use with it? I don’t want to use anything that will interfere with the effectiveness of it as I’m happy it’s working. Last year I was on doxycycline for three months for a particularly bad flair up and want to avoid that again if I can even though it worked miracles.
Before my skin started to have a mind of its own I used to use Elemis pro collagen marine cream and any old face wash.
Im 42 and the rosacea started just over a year ago- although I’ve always had quite ‘ruddy’ cheeks and flushed easily. I’m now also starting to get broken veins and getting quite self conscious about it now.
Any advice would be gratefully received!
