Jacket/wrap for this dress

I need something to wear with this dress for a wedding. It's a very dark blue, and could be colder at points so need something to wear over it when outdoors.

Not a jacket.

Either a navy duster style coat which is worn open so showing the dress and which is the same length or very slightly shorter than the dress or a shawl/ pashmina

As the dress has some frills already, might be best to go for a very neat fitted bolero-style jacket or cardigan? Or maybe a pashmina.

I had a similar style dress, admittedly some years ago so not exactly on trend advice, and ended up with a short neat jacket in the background colour.I wore the ensemble to no end of functions, all year round.
