Does anyone want to spend my money for me?

I really really hate shopping and know from previous threads that some if you love doing this so thought I’d ask here before I put myself through the hell of having to do it myself!

Im looking for:
Shorts that are cool enough to wear in the south of France but that aren’t too short (I have some very short shorts but always feel a bit exposed in them)

Something I can throw on over bikini when I’m walking around

A dress or jumpsuit that would do for day or casual evening

A beach bag that’s a bit more stylish than the bag for life I use when I’m taking the kids to the beach.

Any other suggestions for a 4 day holiday in the south of France (child free!) gratefully received. I’m not a fan of clothes that scream ‘I’m on holiday’ so stuff I’d also be happy to wear at home is preferred.

I’m a size 8, 5’2, mostly slim but not very toned and have a mum tum.

High street budget only I’m afraid Sad

Things I bought recently that I plan to take in my beach holiday but also plan to use at home include:
Navy M&S jersey shorts for £12.50
White M&S long linen cover up shirt (but haven’t tried it on yet)
Various oversized T-shirts from the affordable end of free people
Things I plan to take from my wardrobe but are still available in shops:
Hush denim shorts and maybe my slightly longer and smarter Cos denim shorts
Cos T shirt dresses that will go day to evening
Cos V neck loose fit Ts

For beach bag I plan to take my retired / well used le pliage bag now that I have a newer one for every day use. I do resent spending loads on something that comes out of the cupboard once every two years and then gets covered in sand.

I will try ... Shorts; COS (they have quite a few in different length, cut, material)
Bikini cover up; H&M have dresses or long shirts in different colours that look stylish but are also comfortable (and affordable)
Dress ; Massimo Dutti
Bag; & other stories have a couple of straw totes that look very stylish ,otherwise get yourself a French basket from Etsy or Ebay.

Look on netaporter sale. Several things are 80 percent off at the moment. Worth a try and they do courier returns if you are not happy with fit.

Thanks everyone. I always forget about cos but I’ve had some great stuff from there before. Off to look

Have you looked at Weird Fish? They've currently got 30% off a lot of items plus another 10% if you add the code at the top of their website.

Next mom denim shorts are fab!

I bought this from h and m for throwing on for going down for breakfast/ at the pool, generous fit you’d need an xs. It’s cotton so really cool.

I would also suggest Arket. Plenty of dresses/ bags etc...

TK Maxi had a lot of boho kaftan type things in last week. I think the brand might have been Seafolly.

I got really good patterned shorts from Kitri recently, £25 in the sale.

I'd get a long thin white shirt to put on over a bikini.
