Work trousers that aren't ankle grazers

I'm 5ft and really need a new pair of trousers or two to wear on the rare occassions when I actually go into the office. I have lost a lot of weight recently and my work wardrobe is now seriously lacking anything that fits.
I want to get a decent pair of straight leg trousers but all I see everywhere are ankle grazers which look awful on me as I'm short.
Budget would be about £50. Any suggestions?

I was in M&S last week for work trousers, they had every shape of trouser in short, regular and long leg. I know M&S are not the height of fashion but for work trousers they’re absolutely fine. I took my work shoes with me, and tried on about 15 pairs in different shapes, sizes and lengths and bought two pairs.

I would definetly go along with M & S as well for work trousers

I am roughly the same height as you. I recently bought a whole bunch of black M&S trousers in short length, all varying in style, shape, etc. I had to return every single one of them because despite the shorter leg length, the crotch/waist ration was way off. So frustrating.

I have had success with Boden Richmond but they're over your budget.
