How do you pick a new style? I like long hair and need to be able to tie it back but I have had the same not-a-real-style style for years!
How do you make a change? How do you find on you like when google images is all the same style!

Have you got a fringe? I went from having a side fringe to a full fringe and I've had so many compliments!

I go by my face shape for the cut and look at celebrities with similar face shape. Then I google the haircut and read more about what it's good for and who it's good for. For example, some highlight eyes or flatter the jawline or forehead.

With colour, I found out my season online and looked up celebrities with similar colouring to see how it looks on them. I don't do anything dramatic like bleaching at home but box dye is fine if going lighter or darker by a couple of shades.

I watch YouTube reviews of hair dyes and haircuts. I get organised with all my tools including a rattail comb and sharp hair cutting scissors.

Fringe does give a dramatic change without losing length and if you want it away from your face I would get accessories and styling products that help keep it away. I think summer is the worst season to cut a full fringe though!

MNers are great with style suggestions if you feel comfortable posting a face pic with your eyes/nose/mouth obscured but keep the face outline and jawline clear I'm sure you'll get good suggestions.
