And I felt so old, and I'm only 35! It was like being surrounded by young people wearing costumes from the 90s and 00s. Very discombobulated by it all. On the upside, I did buy a pair of jeans that aren't skinny fit! They're basically the same as what I wore when I was 18. I mean.... no point to this thread, just needed to vent.

fash has come around again. I know what you mean it’s a bit disconcerting to walk around and you could be in 1994 😂

I think because of lockdowns, it's felt like a very sudden change too, no gradual build up to all the new (old) trends. Enjoy your new jeans. I must admit I do feel a lot cooler in a looser fit jean, as in not warm and stuffy as skinnies cling. 90s style jeans are much more suited to warmer weather.

I love it! I'm 35 too and have been embracing the Mum Jeans 1994 look for a bit now. Way more flattering on me than the 00s low rise trend.

I am feeling pretty out of touch these days... I'm 38 fwiw. I work in a school and can't wear denim and trainers, and I feel as if I look dated and overly formal in anything else!
