Help!

Dh and I are going to New York for 5 days at the end of July, I’ve checked the weather as much as you can and it looks to be warm 26/32 degrees

What do I need to take clothes wise? I could probably find £100 to buy some new bits??

please help I’m a 18-20 with a big belly and smallish boobs and zero bum.

Nothing-it will be hot and humid! In order not to get arrested, I would wear cotton cycling shorts under a floaty dress-no chub rub but cool. Factor in lots of stops and a pool!

So some midi dresses? Shorts?

Whatever is cooler. So cotton dresses and shorts and t shirts. People don’t get dressed up in New York, even when going out for dinner.

Trainers too. Don’t wear sandals or flip flops. You’ll understand when you see the streets. If you can get Skechers and start wearing them now to break them in.

I live in NYC! It will be hot. It was 36c yesterday.

Lots of wafting around in Midi and Maxi dresses. Like pp said, don't wear dainty sandals - Birkenstocks at the minimum. A maxi and some chunky sandals and you're set. Bring a cardigan or a denim jacket to chuck over yourself if you're in a heavily airconditioned shop. Nap dresses and the like are v. in right now.

I've also been wearing denim shorts with an oversized linen shirt or t-shirt.

The Princess Di in 1995 look is also really in right now. Like this or 7 and 15 here. Perrsonally, I can't pull off the bike shorts, but go for it if you want.

If you have any more specific questions, let me know. I love people watching (it's an unofficial part of my job) and live for this kind of stuff.
