Shit hair saga

Went in to get a semi permanent dye put in my hair 10 weeks ago, I had very dark ends and wanted to match it while I grow it out.

I have major roots now and I didn't think this would happen, every other time I got a semi it just washed out, no roots. I think they put a permanent dye in I rang and they are saying they didn't.

I'm not going mad am I?

10 weeks is a very long time for a semi permanent last I’ve never had one that’s lasted more than four in all honesty

Start washing with head and shoulders of it doesn't budge much it's definitely permanent

I've used head and shoulders a couple of times. It's not budging, I rang the hairdresser and they are trying to tell me that it's normal with a semi.
It's never happened before and I've been dying my hair for years.
It's a very obvious regrowth.
Spoke to the owner and she said she'll look but is unsure of what I want to her to do about it.
I don't even know what they can do with it!
I've been growing out the dark for 2 years and now it's back!
