Work suits

I desperately need new suits for work.

I have to wear dark suits for work; black, navy or dark grey only.

Good suit options for women pre-Covid were limited, but now they are almost non-existent. M and S in store told me they stock one (unsuitable!) blazer with only, despite stocking various suit trouser options. Reiss in store had nothing. Next had one suit jacket (I had to order online) and the fit is terrible.

I’m roughly size 16, 5’5”, tend to go for pencil skirt options over trousers. I’d like to go for something interesting rather than plain (save for the colour limitations!) but at the moment I would take something that fits.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Just wondering if you had any luck finding suits? I am looking too.

I have found massimo dutti great for work suits. Good array of colours and styles

John Lewis own brand. Jacket and then options of skirts, trousers or a dress. Great fabric and v comfy.

Do check your local charity shops. For some mysterious reason mine are awash with formal workwear. Likewise Vinted/eBay.
