Hair protection from sun, sea & pool - holidays

I have (very) dry hair which will need protection from all of the above.

I used to use Boots’ Sun, Swim & Gym (or whatever it was called) but the wonderful oily formula of old has been changed.

Any recommendations for a heavy duty hair protection product? I don’t mind looking like an oil slick - though not with coconut oil (can’t stand the stuff)

I have tried wheatgerm oil which apparently naturally has a high SPF but it didn’t protect the hair as much as I thought it might

PS I would not want to wear a swimming cap or sun hat

I always use Milkshake leave in conditioner, it's amazing!
Redken also do one that's great

Philip Kingsley swim cap www.philipkingsley.co.uk/swimcap-75ml.html

It's a small tube but if you use it on damp hair it easily lasts a week if not longer.
