Help! I've got addicted to Charlotte tilbury magic cream. In desperate need of a cheaper alternative. Anyone know anything similar. I love it because make up goes on so well over it I can skip primer.

Revolution pro miracle cream , I bought four as I got a discount code and free delivery, I started to use it as mumsnet recommended it. It’s very good dupe of Charlotte tilbury magic cream. It’s only £10 full price read the reviews. I love it.

WooNoodle · 31/05/2022 19:13

Ooh! Thanks! That's more my sort of price!

Nivea day cream with SPF 15

MrsKeats · 31/05/2022 19:19

I love all the inkey list moisturisers.

I love all the inkey list moisturisers.

Are they kind of thick?

@MakkaPakkas ooh nivea good shout!

I'm partial to Astral. It's kind of thick, leaves a dewy finish and is very old fashioned, in a good way. I'm currently waiting for my Original Nivea blue to sink in before I untie my hair. Sometimes the old originals are still around for a reason. They literally do the job they're made to do.

I love the green and yellow Atrixo but I'm post-menopausal.

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 31/05/2022 19:42

CeraVe

NamechangeFML · 31/05/2022 19:44

No7 are fantastic. You can usually get them on offer at least once a month!
im 40 this year and dont really have a lot of wrinkles

ArabeI · 31/05/2022 19:49

Cerave am is good for day, and quite reasonably priced. I also have a big pot of Nivea soft (white pot), even cheaper.

TabithaTittlemouse · 31/05/2022 19:50

I buy loads of expensive moisturisers but always go back to the original Nivea!

Lallybroch · 31/05/2022 19:52

I love my nivea

actiongirl1978 · 31/05/2022 20:29

Nivea is terrible for my skin as its scented.

I use cetaphil daily 50 and no spots, suncare included and less than £10.

But I do need primer on top.

Ah see I've used cetaphil before but found I was definitely having to use primer. If they made a thicker cetaphil that would be perfect! Thanks for the heads up about the nivea, I'll get a small pot to try first.

That's a hand cream!

BusterGonad · 31/05/2022 22:03

If you want thick then blue Nivea or Astral is for you. Or a bit pricier Nuxe facial balm.

Cookerhood · 31/05/2022 22:05

Aldi moisturisers are fab.

Theoldwoman · 31/05/2022 22:07

CeraVe

MrsKeats · 31/05/2022 22:28

No I don't find them thick. They are great for the price I think

uncomfortablydumb53 · 31/05/2022 23:11

Cerave
The new Aveeno calm and restore is really good for my skin too

Nanalisa60 · 01/06/2022 08:18

Nivea, no7, Aldi, are all good , but none of them are like Charlotte tilbury magic cream, but revolution pro miracle cream is, it’s a dupe , have a look at the reviews online , you won’t need a primer . I will only be using revolution pro from now on.
