Tanning creams, the gradual ones. I use the Dove spa thing and have done for years, mostly just on lower legs in summer. I also like the clarins drops mixed with moisturiser for the face. The colour i use really suits me.

I am happy with the products, but wonder how I might be able to branch out a bit and apply to other areas of my body. When I do my legs it tends to fade naturally with each day and showering, and is no hassle to reapply to such a small area.
But if I did my entire legs, arms, chest, would this end up patchy? There's more areas to sweat in these places....

How do you do your back?

How often would you have to maintain that? Do you reapply every day, or every few? Does showering remove your all over tan in patches so you'd have to scrub it all off and keep redoing it? Does working out leave it patchy?
That sounds like a pain.

Also, I am intrigued by dry body brushing and would love to try it out - I presume this would literally scrape my tan off!
Anyone have advice or answers?

I'm fairly low maintenance so not sure I could be bothered reapplying a full tan every day or even every 3.

How do you do your back?

I haven't done tan for years and have embraced my skin being the colour it it but when I did have a brief foray into fake tanning I used to get it in an aerosol spray and my DH did my back with me standing in the shower. He said it was like spraying a car!😂 But it worked ok.

I never kept it up though - it was more for weddings and fancy holidays where I might wear a bikini.

Body brushing is the dogs, I do it before my shower each morning and after about 3 days I notice a difference if I've not done it for a while. Find it doesn't really effect my tan, gives a smooth base for any new product.

I found a Bondi Sands tan back applicator via Feelunique after someone mentioned it on here, so far so good. Think it just takes a lot of trial and error to find the products that work for you. Using Garnier Body at the moment which I'm impressed with, have tried a range across a spectrum of prices.

I use the vita liberata spray oil tanner and the tanning mitts which are like oven gloves (can't remember the brand name)

But that way I can spray it on my back and use the middle section of the mitts to rub it in.
