I love that style of skirt. I love it so much that the skirt of my own wedding dress was pretty much identical. Could that be a risk OP? That the bride will be wearing a similar style.

I would love to say that if one of my guests had worn a similar skirt I would have been absolutely cool with it ... but that wouldn't be true. I would have been a little upset and felt less special. I wouldn't have felt any animosity at all towards the guest. But I would have felt less good about myself/my dress.

I guess you could say that is a risk with any style of skirt, but that one is particularly striking for a guest and not sooooo uncommon in a wedding dress.
