Has anyone found a dupe for this? Preferably non scented. I use it to make my face shine on days I'm not wearing make up. Vaseline doesn't give the same kind of shine. Any suggestions, especially budget ones gratefully received!

Egyptian magic cream maybe?

I'd forgotten I wanted to try that! Will give it a go, cheers!

What about their mothers balm? That has no scent.

Weleda weather protection cream? Much lighter than vaseline and god for highlighting.

Neal's Yard 'Wild Rose Beauty Balm'. I was given a free sample of this 'balm' after I had bought a gift at their store in Borough Market. (I've used Neal's Yard products for many years and usually love them.)

After using it that evening the next morning I awoke with a severe allergic reaction. My face ballooned to several times its normal size, my skin became bright red and felt like sandpaper, eventually peeling off in lumps, accompanied by nausea and nights of sleeplessness, headaches, etc.. An antihistamine cream helped slightly with constant cold wet cloths to relieve the burning. I was leaving for the US in a few days but going through Passport Control I was hardly recognised.
I was advise caution in using this cream.

Charlotte Tilbury Magic cream is pretty good on my skin ( dry) for giving shine. I find a need a thick cream, especially in the winter rather than a runny moisturiser.

Lots of people swear by Astral which is cheap as chips for being virtually the same thing ( and similar to La Mer).

I cant get on with it personally and I hate the smell but it might be a budget option?
