Cupshe - anyone tried their swimwear?

I’m after some new swimwear for holidays. I’ve bought figleaves for the last few years but feel a bit stuck in a rut style wise, and Cupshe caught my eye with some lovely looking one and two-pieces.

I’ve also seen mixed things about their sizing though and (typically) as a size ‘10/11’ I’m not sure what will work for me. I’m pretty slim but have boobs and hips (but not massive) and like something that covers my c-section bulge.

Has anyone bought from them before? Any views on quality and fit?

I bought some from vinted, still had the tags on, I really like it, feels very high quality!

It appears to have good reviews, l like the dresses on there, Pour Moi has some beautiful beachwear too.

Thanks! How did the sizes come up @MiseryWIthAStent ?

I’ll check Pour Moi out too @Moonface123

Just ordered from there last week. I would agree it is very good quality, you also get detailed measurements for each size so it helps you know which one to get.
Definitely read the returns policy though as it is really not easy to return. I think because it's a US company the shipping cost is really high, so if you don't want it they actually offer for you to keep it and only refund 70% (I guess as not worth the cost of shipping back). I was and am still pretty confused by it.

I wanted to return both of mine, one because the shape is too skimpy for me, the other one because it's a bit too small at the top, but I am BF so a bit out of proportion at the moment, I imagine it might work for next year.

NotHungry · 28/05/2022 20:05

That's probably how PP found some with tags on Vinted, that's where I'll put the skimpy one as they don't want me to send it back and I have no need for it.

MoveOnTheCards · 28/05/2022 20:11

Oh that’s interesting about the returns policy. I guess we’re pretty used to full refunds/free returns these days. I’ll check it out and read the Ts&Cs.

I've got one. It fits about right on the waist and bum (wouldn't want it any smaller) but is a bit big in the boob area. It's fine though

RebornRebound · 28/05/2022 20:14

I've bought recently. I'm a 10/12 erring on the side of 12 and both their size M and L fit me. The L is probably more comfy but I have tiny boobs so it's slightly too big in the bust but not noticeable to anyone apart from me. Quality is very good. Read the reviews for size-specific notes.

MoveOnTheCards · 28/05/2022 20:14

Where else sells decent swimwear that is flattering but not old lady or ‘mumsy’ (meant kindly!)?

MoveOnTheCards · 28/05/2022 20:16

Thanks @RebornRebound i’m generally a size 10 but don’t want to bulge out or feel uncomfortable so will look into the M measurements. I hate when sizes are 8-10, 12-14. I fall right between!

I got a small and am generally an 8-10, probably nearer a 10 atm. This is a photo of me in it, you can see the gape around my boobs at the side (I wear a 30C bra).

WreckTangled · 28/05/2022 20:20

Sorry that's so close up and takes up so much of the screen Blush

Wallabyone · 28/05/2022 20:45

I've been wondering about this brand as their designs look great and it keeps popping up. The returns sound a bit of a nightmare though, and puts me off ordering.
@WreckTangled That looks lovely on you, and a good seamstress could easily take in the sides a bit.

Mookie81 · 28/05/2022 21:19

Bought 3 swimsuits, one 1 piece and 2 bikinis, and the quality is very good.
Delivery prompt and what I like best is that the reviews show real people wearing them, so you can see how they really look and not just on a skinny model! 😄

StarlightLady · 29/05/2022 08:37

I bought a bikini and a one piece cossie from them a few months back and returned several others.

l am pleased with the quality and fit with those l kept. Nothing wrong with the others, they were just not me. For the returns, maybe things have changed, l simply went onto an online chat and she sent me a return label by email. The refund was very prompt.

As an aside, why is it so difficult to find a one piece cossie with a deep U scooped back without any faffy straps? There are going to be some weird tan lines this summer.

Cupshe is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my life! On May 6, I purchased a bathing suit via Instagram and they instantly charged my credit card yet never sent me a confirmation email or anything. I have never received my bathing suit and they’ve never answered any emails. I’ve sent them five emails and they never acknowledge me until I went on trust pilot and gave them a bad review and said what they’ve done along with lots of other people who have had terrible experiences similar to mine with them. They make sure they don’t have a phone number available and they never answer emails. On trust pilot they said that they sent me an email to resolve this which again is a lie and they also said that they have no record of me ever emailing them which again is a lie. I have all of them saved and I can prove it as well as prove that they charged my credit card. These people are scammers do yourself a favor and steer clear of them!
