Dyson Fans: do I need a Supersonic or an Airwrap?

Big birthday coming up and I am thinking of pushing the boat out with a Dyson as my hair is fragile following highlights, but not sure which would be best?

I have fine shoulder length hair which has developed some curl over the last few years (mysterious - perhaps hormone related?). I usually dry it straight with a Babyliss Big Hair but want to reduce the heat damage and improve the shine. I sometimes I wear it curly.

I'm hopeless at doing the dryer and brush blowdry thing so am wondering if I need the Airwrap?

I have fine straight shoulder length hair. Just got the airwrap this week. The curling barrels are fab, give great bouncy waves with volume that lasts till next day (my hair doesn't hold a curl well so this is brilliant). I'm still figuring out the other attachments but so far it's the best thing I've tried for a proper 'blow dry' look.

I have the supersonic hairdryer and while I’m sure it’s better for my hair in terms of its not damaging yet it hasn’t been life changing either.

Wouldn't have the time/patience/dexterity to use a curling iron but the Airwrap is great.

I'm a big fan of the hairdryer but not at all of the Airwrap.

Thanks All - does seem a very personal decision.

I hate the vacuum cleaners but absolutely love my Dyson hair dryer. I have very long, thick hair and it dried my hair much quicker and it's effortless.

I have fine hair and hated the airwrap and the straighteners, I do have the dryer and whilst it's a good hairdryer I'm still not convinced it's £300 good, If you buy it from QVC I think you can use it for 60 days and still. return it for a full refund so you to have a proper test drive with it.
