Has anyone got any recommendations for a lip plumper that actually works?

I've been trawling the internet reading reviews but they are so mixed and really don't want to waste my money. Any ideas?

I bought one and it just kept tingling my lips. I don't think it plumped them and felt uncomfortable

The benefits are only very temporary. They basically cause an allergic reaction of sorts, put some on your arm or back of your hand and you'll see. I bought an expensive one and now don't use it.

They’re all some variation of chilli powder or menthol - things that act as irritants on the lips and so cause the blood to flow there. You may as well buy a bottle of Nando’s sauce (not lemon and herb). The only think that will plump lips longer term is lip fillers.

Niod works!! (And without the tingling sensation) I just never use mine as it makes my lips too large as I also have filler.

Can second the NIOD lip bio lipid works and lasts. I put it on every night before bed (it’s not a temporary effect). Not hugely dramatic but has stopped the age related slight thinning of my lips. I hope they never discontinue it!

Does it make your lips red too? I really want subtle plumping but hate having very red lips!

Anyone know any other good products too?

The NIOD was the worst of the lip plumper I tried and it stunk into the bargain. It might seem cheap at £40, but is still money wasted.

I opted for a half ml of lip filler in the end. £170.00 but subtle change with such a tiny amount and lasts. Nobody knows I've had it but my lips look smoother and plumper.

I put it on at night so more of a maintenance product for me!
