How about a low block heel? New Look have these in different colours depending on the outfit. www.newlook.com/uk/womens/footwear/shoes/sandals/off-white-leather-look-scalloped-2-part-block-heel-sandals/p/823237912?extcam=UK_SOC_APPPDPSHARE

I'm old so don't know what's fashionable these days. But a wedge would be the best bet.

Why doesn’t she look herself rather than asking people a lot older than her

When I had been preparing for the wedding, I thought that once I can overcome the pain in beautiful high hill shoes. But it was awful experience, so sandals is the best way to feel the best on the wedding. www.next.co.uk/g70533s4/m78391#m78391 these are really pretty.

Thanks for all your replies.
@Corty02 they are a pair that she has seen and ordered.
@Soupercat DD is looking. We are just asking for advice particularly re: comfort. She is used to wearing high block heels etc but needs to be able to wear them all day and evening and there is quite a walk from the registry office to meal afterwards etc. She doesn’t want to show herself up and look foolish by realising she cannot walk far without being in discomfort

Fitflop have some nice platform-style sandals (they look nothing like the original wedge Fitflops - they’ve come a long way). I find Fitflop extremely comfortable as a brand.
