I have medium length dark auburn hair, starting to grey. Don't dye it. Prone to being very frizzy and wiry. Always blow dry it, but the brush that I had has fallen apart and I can't find it again! The replacement is crap.
i want something round, quite large handle (the thinner it is the harder I find it to style with) and with spaced out bristles, not really thick dense ones. Or maybe I do want dense bristles? What will help get my hair smooth and not frizzy while drying? Is there anything new I should be looking out for or avoiding? Dos anything make a difference?
Recommendations for good hair brushes please!

Babyliss Big Hair (hairdryer and rotating brush combined) Honestly it is the answer.

Ah should have said that I don't actually want big volume hair, I want flat and smooth.

I have this from Amazon: H&S Round Hair Brush Blow Dry Drying Boar Bristle 53mm Large Round Barrel Nano Technology Ceramic Ionic Hairbrush

I use an eti 3600 hairdryer and wash/dry my hair once or twice a week. I have thick, wavy hair, high frizz tendency and it’s down past my bra. These work well - I blow dry straight (never use irons) and I don’t need to worry about it for days.

Head jog brushes have a variety of barrel sizes. I have frizzy hair so pretty much hold the nozzle of my drier to the barrel to smooth it.
I use the largest barrel as I like to blow volume in as well.
I use a vent brush on top layers to keep them ‘flatter’
i get the head jog brushes off eBay

I use a Denman radial vent hairbrush on the rare occasion I blow dry my hair. I've tried the larger barrel brushes, and I have a Babyliss Big Hair rotating brush, but always go back to the plain Denman.
