Sun hat for someone who doesn't suit hatss!

Got a week-long school trip coming up, hopefully weather will be sunny as most of the time we'll be outdoors.

However, I will need a hat and I just don't suit them - I have a roundish face and fine hair which just goes totally flat . I usually avoid the sun but we'll be out every day. It also doesn't help that I'm about 20 years older than most of the other staff going (mostnof whom will be wearing baseball caps).

Help please

If your hair is long enough, skin it back into a low bun or ponytail and you won't get hat hair.

I'm afraid you might have to just put up with looking ridiculous like me. I have to wear a hat in the sun and have never found in that looks nice.
I went for a floppy cotton one with a detachable neck shield from mountain warehouse. Not in the least attractive but practical and can be stuffed in a pocket when not needed.

I have curly hair, hats ruin my hair to totally for the get of the day. Could you try a visor rather than a hat?

I bought this one recently. Nice colour options, folds to pack in suitcase, and looks better than any other one I've tried. Stays on head even in wind but doesn't make head hot.
