Falling in love with Uniqlo again...

I don't work for them, I promise! But I did type out a long post which has disappeared and I cba to type it again. Anyway, I used to have a Uniqlo habit pre-pandemic, then in the pandemic my shape changed due to menopause :( and they started charging for returns, so I gave up. Just went back to the Oxford Circus flagship store and bought so much stuff, and saw a lot of great stuff I plan to buy. I am 5'7 and a size 12 apple, but fairly small busted ( B cup).

Been looking for the perfect tee for apples. This was the holy grail and in such nice bright colours, not the usual urine yellow and boring navy. www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-dolman-sleeve-t-shirt-444519COL54SMA005000.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhLKUBhDiARIsAMaTLnHD6jO1kq5d30PT-3_GOd9T_CSdputZgE2NHrCzzpLgSpL3WQlkzm0aApVDEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
Also bought this. Nice thick cotton which skims over my tum and looks more modern than the clingy tees I used to wear. www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-oversized-half-sleeved-t-shirt-447207COL32SMA004000.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwhLKUBhDiARIsAMaTLnEeXtrdvO6igEimVQ0-Q0GVROpKFHYJV7hSlHkMCq-8VyHnr5ColfIaAmYSEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

And bought an Airism dress; very comfy. Was sorely tempted by some linen shirts but I passed on those. Everything is very, very oversize though so go one size or even two sizes down. I was an XS in one of their stripy tees! But lovely cotton and some really nice summer colours.

I find their sizing horrendously variable. Add that to the fact they charge for returns and I don't live in London, means any chance of me buying anything of theirs has long gone.

I'm sick of companies having poor quality control and expecting their customers to pay for that, rather than actually fixing the issue

DuchessOfSausage · 24/05/2022 16:13

I really like their clothes and find the quality good, and I live near enough to shop in store.
I'm not keen on OP's linked t-shirts but I am probably a different shape to OP

Not looked at their site for ages but like the look of the Paul & Joe and Ines dlF collaborations

JanisMoplin · 24/05/2022 16:20

Their sizing is definitely all over the place. I was an XS in one v wide shirt, an L in another. I am a v odd shape at the moment so yes, what I posted may not suit everyone. I do think their cotton is si much better quality than H and M or others in same bracket.

Also wfh now and want to dress for the life I have rather than the life I used to. So going much more casual and picking things I can lounge about in, then wear to Tesco's and for a walk.

I love Uniqlo t shirts. I have some 3/4 length sleeve Supima cotton ones that are about 7 years old.

I just struggle a bit with the length of their tops at the moment. I'm a 34DD so anything like the first one you linked to ends up hanging off them like a shelf and showing my waistband. Give me body length!

DashboardConfessional · 24/05/2022 16:27

Aha! These look perfect.

Agree a lot of tops are short and wide. Put me off ordering online. But with a small bust some look ok on me. Definitely not for the large busted I guess.
