Casual afternoon wedding- guest outfit help please!

So our lovely friends announced yesterday that the group get together at the (very nice) pub next Saturday is actually going to be their wedding reception! So the plan is everyone meeting at the registry office for a quick ceremony then off to the pub for food and drinks to celebrate.
Friend insists it’s all very casual and that they just want to celebrate with their nearest and dearest… but I need to make a bit of an effort instead of my planned jeans and top!

I am 40ish, size 18, 5’5’’ with pale skin and ‘bronde’ hair.
I like my arms to be covered and not a fan of low backs as need a good bra.
I like my boobs and ankles 🤣.

Help please!

Dancing Leopard shirt dresses are fab for this kind of thing. The dove dressw is maxi length and there's a couple of different ,really flattering midi length dresses too.

There are some fabulous day dresses on Joe Brown.

I like the Hush dresses, especially the Kensington dresses. Flattering for every size, comes in lots of different colours and shapes, elasticated waist and pockets

I got a beautiful dress from Tesco yesterday of all places
sweetheart neck with little sleeves. It’s knee length in a lovely floral print they had a few colour ways and it was only £16! I can’t find a link but there were a few lovely dresses in they would fit your requirements

I think one of the thousands of floral midi dresses around would be good, or maybe a wrap dress to emphasise boobs, there are some nice ones with angel sleeves around

These sorts of things? I ordered the phase eight one in an 18 and it wasn’t quite a good enough fit on me but I loved the fabric

I am a big fan of Hush Kensington dresses and have four 😳.
I have a day off tomorrow so heading to Glasgow to see what I can find and have ordered a shirt dress from Dancing leopard and might nip to Tesco tonight!
